The current base price is $4400 which includes an elevated fingerboard, laminated back and sides, a truss rod, Gotoh premium tuning machines, and a hard shell case. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required at the start of construction and the remaining balance to be paid in full at the time of completion.
My basic model has a spruce (European or Engelmann), Western Red Cedar, or Redwood soundboard; Indian rosewood back and sides; Spanish Cedar or Honduras Mahogany neck; Ebony fingerboard; rosewood bridge; natural wood rosette. String length is 650mm. Width of neck at the nut is 52 mm and 62 mm at the twelfth fret. All instruments are French polished.
Double-top = $500. It is a sandwich of Nomex, an ultra light cell construction, between two very thin layers of cedar or spruce. This makes an extremely light sound board, but is also very strong.
Optional back and side woods are available and will be priced at the time of ordering according to the cost at that time.
Tuning machines can be substituted at the additional cost over the Gotoh tuners.
Sound Port = $100
Arm Rest = $200
Width of neck and string spacing changes, no charge.
Any other custom work will be discussed and priced at the time of ordering.
